Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need fog for the swamp effect?
Yes. The moving swamp illusion depends on low-lying fog passing through the laser plane. Without fog, the laser can still appear on a compatible surface but will not create the same floating effect.
Is a fog machine included?
Only the Starter Fog Kit and Ultimate Kit include a fog machine. Laser-only options do not. Fog fluid, a fog chiller and dry ice are not included.
Can it be used outdoors?
The projector housing is rated IP67. The plug, adapter and connections must still be kept dry and protected.
How large an area does it cover?
Coverage varies with mounting distance, angle, darkness, fog density and wind. Begin with a shorter distance, then reposition the secured unit to fit your scene.
What safety precautions should I follow?
Never look into the beam or aim it at people, pets, vehicles, roads, windows, aircraft, the sky or reflective surfaces. Mount it securely outside children’s reach and follow local laser-use rules.
